RHA MA750i Noise Isolating Premium In-Ear Headphones Review

MA750i In-Ear Monitors: My Impressions

I’m starting to become an RHA fan! It’s hard to ignore the great craftsmanship that is put into their headphones. I was able to get my hands on a pair of their new release RHA MA750i premium in-ear Headphones. I also recently did a review on their lower end model, the RHA MA450i, that turned out to be quite the interesting pair of headphones, which made me even more excited for these MA750i’s. The RHA MA750i’s come in a sophisticated packaging, that is quite appealing to the eye. The box is a booklet style, just flip it open to reveal the stunning, chromed out British headphones, and its accessories.

Design and Comfort

Since I had reviewed the lower end model, RHA MA450i’s, and was really happy with them, I was kind of expecting something really amazing from these MA750i’s. I was not let down, at all, even RHA MA750i Very Stylish New Release Headphoneswith high expectations. I always try to be as subjective as possible in my reviews, and show both pros and cons of the headphones, but with these, I really don’t have any cons. Maybe the only thing I would have wanted different on these, would have been to not have the “around the ear” feature, and just have them as a regular old pair of in-ears. But I really can’t even complain about that, because they fit amazing with this around the ear loop, and the style is pretty cool.

The build on these RHA MA750i’s is quite exceptional. These headphones easily rival headphones that are 2 to 3 times the price! They have a very sturdy 303F stainless steel construction, that gives off a nice robust feeling. The cable is about 3.5 feet long, and sports volume and track control, as well as a microphone. The cable is also very thick and strong, and all the pieces on it have a nice shiny chrome finish.

The MA750i in-ear headphones come with a vast array of ear-bud tip styles and sizes. Which include, single buds, double buds, and memory foam tips. The ones that worked out the best for me were the double buds, and the memory foam tips. These headphones will not fit in your ears properly without them being wrapped around the ear (as they were designed to be used like this). The behind the ear style supports the weight of the heavy all metal buds, and is fairly comfortable. I found these headphones to be more comfortable, and perform better then the Bowers & Wilkins C5 in-ear headphones (which actually are twice the price).

Audio Performance

The sound quality on these guys is professional. They have a very balanced, even range of frequencies, making them ideal for all types of music. To me they sound similar to their little brother MA450i, but with more powerful audio, most likely due to the 560.1 hand made driver. Like most in-ear headphones they are also noise-canceling. It is recommended to put the RHA MA75oi’s through 100 hours of use to “burn in” the headphones, for optimum sound quality. These headphones are a real gem, I highly recommend them if your looking for a great pair of in-ear’s at a bargain price.

Hello, Mat. I want to ask about the RHA MA750i. Is it heavy when you use it? I am worried when I read the specifications. The weight is somehow high to me. And I want to hear from your point of view, compared to Bang and Olufsen and Bowers & Wilkins, Does RHA deliver better sound quality or build quality or design? Because your comment seems to be absolutely great for RHA. Thank you for your attention

    Hi Mat,

Thank you for your review, really helpful.

RHA MA750i looks amazing and has all the features I am looking for.
I´m wondering if this headphone matches with android 5.0.2 version. Also, I have a Sony Xperia Z2…, can you tell me if is a good combination? Is there some limitation for my phone?

    Thank you for your attention,

    Rick.
